Lesson 6 โ€” Weekend Plans - Activities and Free Time

๐Ÿ“–Saturday at the Park

It is Saturday morning. The weather is nice. Peter rides his bike to the park. He sees Amy! "Hi, Amy! What are you doing here?" asks Peter. "Hi, Peter! I play football here every Saturday," says Amy. "I love sports! Do you play football?" "Sometimes," says Peter. "I usually play video games at home. But today I ride my bike." Alejandro arrives. He has a book in his hand. "Hello!" says Alejandro. "What a surprise! Do you come here often?" "I always come on Saturday," says Amy. "What about you?" "I sometimes come to read," says Alejandro. "I love this park. It's quiet." Mishiko walks by. She has a small bag. "What do you do on weekends, Mishiko?" asks Peter. "I draw pictures," says Mishiko. "I also watch anime." "I play guitar," says Alejandro. "Music is my hobby." "I swim on Sunday," says Amy. "I never stay at home on weekends!" "I sometimes ride my bike, but I usually stay at home," says Peter. "We all have different hobbies," says Alejandro. "That's interesting!" The students are happy. They have new friends and fun weekend plans!
